Professor Luis Morán, deputy director of SERC Chile, has been appointed dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Universidad de Concepción.
Luis Morán is an academic of the Department of Electrical Engineering and leader of SERC Chile’s research line “High power electrical systems with penetration of solar energy”.
His work proposal, according to the website of Universidad de Concepción, seeks to make the most of the important moment that the academic unit is living in various areas, such as the development of the Strategic Plan of the Ingeniería 2030 project, to generate the necessary changes, actions and progress to promote the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering of the UdeC.
Morán, will replace the current authority of the Faculty, Joel Zambrano, who served in the position for six consecutive periods between 1998 and 2016.
