On October 16, Line of Research 2 researches Luis Morán, José Espinoza, Claudia Rahmann and Miguel Torres, along with Rubén Peña from Line of Research 1, visited the 100 MW photovoltaic plant Amanecer Solar CAP, located 40km from Copiapó. The plant has more than 314,000 photovoltaic panels installed around 280 hectares and has been pumping all its produced energy to the Central Interconnected System (SIC, by its Spanish acronym) from February 16 this year.
