Researchers from Universities of Yale and Connecticut examined the main reasons why people install solar panels on the roof of their houses. The study was carried out in different residential areas of Connecticut city, USA, and was published in the Journal of Economic Geography. The main reason given by these people is that they want to be considered ‘green’ within society.
