In order to discuss and analyze the main challenges and development options for solar energy in Chile, the MSc Energy and environmental program of the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez will hold the seminar “Thermosolar and Photovoltaic Technologies: key elements for energetic development in Chile,” on Thursday September 4 at its  headquarters in Peñalolén.

An outstanding panel of experts, which will include the Executive Vice President of CORFO, Eduardo Bitran; the (independent) senator and President of the Mining and Energy Commission of the Senate, Alejandro Guillier; Peter Israel, Manager Director of Origin Energy Chile and Sergio Jarpa, Technical Vice president of Marubeni LP Holding B.V. will participate in the activity.

After the presentations, a round table moderated by academicians of the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences will be held. The seminar has the support from SERC Chile and Origin Chile.
