Fupse Noticia

SERC Chile, in collaboration with Ecodie, have created the International School on Theoretical Fundamentals of Solar Energy (Fupse 2015), aimed at undergraduate and graduate students in physics, engineering and related sciences, and also professionals in the field.

The cycle of talks, sponsored by Conicyt, will be held from August 10 – 21 and will be run by a select group of German scientists and professors. Fupse 2015 will give students the opportunity to interact with international experts, academics and other students looking to transform solar energy into the foundation of sustainable development for all.

In addition, open lectures will be given to students from partner universities.

The International School on Theoretical Fundamentals of Solar Energy (Fupse 2015) explores fundamental concepts and theory that explain how this natural resource is converted into a clean and abundant source of electrical energy, ranging from the characterization of light and matter interaction to technologies used in the manufacture of solar cells.
