The presentation of the paper “On the Control of a Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Plant under Non-Uniform Insolation” by Miguel Torres, Carlos Baier, José Silva and José Espinoza was awarded the prize for best exhibition of its session at the 2014conference IEEE IECON, held in Dallas, Texas USA, between October 29 and November 1, 2014. The project evaluates the strategy performance control of a large-scale photovoltaic plant connected to the grid using multi-cell converters as a power source, and it shows the effects of unequal energy production of photovoltaic modules.
