The Eolian solar car was created in 2007 as a joint development project by the Faculties of Physical Sciences and Mathematics and Design of Universidad de Chile. The new model, Eolian Fenix, is the first two-seater in Latin America. Over 30 students are working on this project under the guidance of Professor Rodrigo Palma, director of SERC Chile.
