Miguel Torres graduated in electrical engineering and received the M.Sc degree from Universidad de Concepción, Chile.
From 2005 to 2008 he worked in the industry as an automation engineer. In 2013, he received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Concordia University, Canada.
His research interests are in renewable energy systems and control of static power converters.
